Monica Rodriguez
I graduated high school from San Angelo Central High School in 1995. I then attended San Jacinto Junior College on a tennis scholarship. After two years at San Jacinto I transferred to Angelo State University. I graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and in 2002 with a Master of Science in Kinesiology.
After graduating college I started working at St. John's as a Sports Medicine liaison with La Marque Independent School District. I worked at La Marque as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for four years. After the fourth I became the Head Athletic Trainer for two years. While at La Marque we won two State Championships in football one in 2003 and one in 2006. I am currently employed by Alvin Independent School District and work at Manvel High School.
I have been a member of GHATS for the past 5 years. I am also a member of SWATA and NATA.
I was born in Lubbock Texas and grew up in San Angelo Texas. I enjoy running, traveling, and shopping. I am engaged to Jason Jackson and will be getting married in June.
